[attr="class","CVcontent3temp1"] war. that was what your family knew for quite some time. the o'reilly's and dolans were enemies and constantly at each other's throats as well. you, however, were born into a time of peace between the two families. several years before your birth, a truce had been settled between your family and theirs when they were recruited by Voldemort as death eaters. time continued to fly by in peace with the families. well, as peaceful as it could be being a death eater. when the battle of hogwarts had struck and voldemort had fallen, your father and mother packed up and left for a while to stay under the radar, just like your aunt and uncle had. out of hiding was when they had you, their precious and perfect baby girl.[break][break]
you never had to want for anything, as your parents always provided the best for you. you were close to them, even when your siblings came along. both a year apart from each other and the oldest a year younger than yourself. first it was your brother, damien. he was a rambuncious child and always finding himself in trouble. his favorite thing to do as a toddler was pull on your braids and no matter how many times you slapped his hand away, he just came back for more. still, you loved him dearly and would do anything for the younger child. your sister evelyn, she was a shy young thing. around you and your family, she was fine and had her moments of wanting to play like any other child. but in front of strangers, she did not speak. she hid behind you or your parents. many times she was told that it was rude, but she couldn't help it. you were close to the two of them, your sister more due to her subdued nature, but both were there for you as you were for them. of course, it showed more with age.[break][break]
on the night before you turned eleven, you received your hogwarts acceptance letter, as was expected. you were ready to leave, but to say you were excited was an overstatement. you knew what would await you there, but even more so, you didn't care too much for it. you were sure you could learn more from your family then from the professors trying to teach. they weren't prepared to teach you what you wanted to know, only how to defend what you wanted to know. still, you went and you fit in well with the house you were sorted into. slytherin, of course. any other house and you would have been practically disowned. not really, but it would not show good signs. slytherin was your family's house, and the only house you would be happy with. when your siblings followed the next two years, your brother was sorted into slytherin as well, but your sister was placed in ravenclaw. that actually wasn't a surprise to you and your family seeing as the more she aged, the more into books and keeping to herself she was.[break][break]
a devastating blow had hit your household though, the year your brother came to hogwarts and the year you entered second year. the truce had ended between your family and the dolans when your aunt and uncle's house went up in flames due to an attack by the other family. your parents were there, trying to help fight the war that had broken out. only your mother escaped with her life, leaving her to become a widow and a single parent of three children. she became very introverted after the loss of her husband as well as those of her brother-in-law and sister-in-law. even though she still did her duty as mother, you took on the role of making sure your siblings had enough love and support. you helped them with homework and did your best to cheer them up when they were down. honestly, you never really had that chance to cry for yourself. you were always too worried about them and your mother. even when at hogwarts you wrote to her every few days to make sure she was still alright. if she didn't reply within a couple days, you became very worried. but it all was alright in the end. it was understandable.[break][break]
you did not hesitate when the option to join your cousin in her new army became apparent. her views were, of course, the same as yours. the only precaution you owned was that she kept your siblings out of it, until they were old enough to decide on their own. in her opinion, that would be as they ended their career at hogwarts. they might have only been a year and two years younger than you, but your protective nature stood and would always be there. you have just graduated from hogwarts and are now training to be an auror. what better way to take hold of the ministry, than to be working for it. the next steps are only soon to come.
