Every morning Fleur was reminded of how beautiful the view was outside the Shell Cottage she, her beloved Bill, and her three beautiful children were raised in. Since she had a day off from her work at the Ministry, she decided to step out with a cup of French Coffee and enjoy the crisp, cool breeze before the day brought the much warmer weather. The beach never ceased to be beautiful. It was smooth and clean, the sand like gold and the endless sea a thing of true wonder. Her attire was simple; pajamas with the light blue shade that she enjoyed so much. She was bare foot and the sand felt so soft and she smiled as it made its way between her toes. She listened to the birds make their calls and breathed in the mixture of the sea air and the aroma of the coffee. An amazing combination of scents. She knew soon they would be joined by the scent of breakfast cooking, as her son and younger daughter were still at home for the summer. With Bill away and her children seemingly still asleep at the moment , it did get a bit lonely at the cottage, but Fleur tended to occupy her mind with things in the morning regardless of whether or not she went on to work after breakfast, be it reading, cleaning a bit or enjoying a long walk or jog down the beach. But for now she just sat on a chair on the porch and looked out at the ocean. Her eyes quietly showed the gratitude of such a blessed life. She had a wonderful family of her home, and had married into a wonderful one as well. She was more than proud to say that she was a Weasley. The name was now a bit legendary after all, though Fleur was more than content with just being part of the large and amazing family. LOUIS SIRIUS WEASLEY

Louis had woken up a bit earlier than usual but was still in bed, not sure what he was going to do that day. He had been busy the last couple days and was quietly happy that he wasn't today. He looked around his room for a few quiet moments. His eyes landed on a drawer in his desk that he hadn't touched in months. He looked at the drawer for a while, deciding on whether to go over and open it or not. He didn't remember exactly what was in it but he had a idea. So curiosity got the best of him. He sat up in bed and swung his legs over the edge of the bed facing the old well-used desk. He stood up and walked over to it. He bent down and opened the untouched drawer after a bit of a struggle but not a big one. He peered into the drawer to see photos of his childhood. He smiled as he picked up the first one. it was of him and his father. He was a little boy in this photo. He was grinning at his father as he stood in his fathers large boots. His tiny legs were completely hidden by the large leather boots. He had now shot up close if not the same height as his father. He went from being one of the shortest in the family to probably being one of the tallest at about 6'2".
He chuckled as he looked at the next one. He was even younger in this one. He must have tried to help his mum cook, because he had a mixing bowl on his head and he was covered in flour.his mum was behind him smiling and trying not to laugh,
He also saw a old worn leather bound sketchbook. He remembered that sketching use to be his biggest passion before he started to play the guitar and write songs on the side. He pulled both the sketchbook and the old photos out of his desk and looked out the window. He decided that it was a good day to good out and look through both. He grabbed a shirt and pulled in on. he held the photos and sketchbook in his left hand after pulling on some pj pants. He looked around as he quietly left his room. He didn't see anyone else up as he walked to go out and relax on the beach.

Fleur sat for a bit, then decided she wanted to go for a short walk. There was still enough time before she had to make breakfast to get a nice walk in. She rose and took her empty coffee cup inside, washed it in the sink, dried it, and returned it to the cupboard. She then turned and headed out the door. As she walked a bit down the beach, she was surprised to see a very familiar figure already out there. She was surprised she hadn't seen her son Louis from the porch when she was sitting, though she was mostly looking out at the ocean and lost in thought anyway. Her thoughts were about Louis though, along with Dominique and Victoire. Well her family in general. The recent disappearance of Liam Ollivander had put everyone on edge, and being an Auror she knew about the whole thing first hand as she was given the task of helping to find the man. She was concerned about her own family of course, hence the great thinking about them. Looking at Louis as she approached, she thought of how handsome and wise he had become, how much she loved him and how proud she was of him. And if something had ever happened to him, she didn't know what she would do. For now, she was of course grateful that Louis was here with her. She would miss him dearly when he returned to Hogwarts as she always did. She made her way beside him and placed her arm around him before kissing him on the cheek. "Bonjour, Louis," she said. True she spoke English most of the time now as opposed to her native French, but she still greeted most everyone in French. "I see you are the true early bird at the cottage this morning. How are you?"LOUIS SIRIUS WEASLEY

He had been deep in thought as he walked on the beach so he was a little surprised by his mum. He smiled at her . He kissed his mum's cheek as he hugged her and greeted his mum" Bonjour, mum I'm well How are you?" He spoke or at least greeted a lot of people in french. his family and some friends were the only ones that he spoke it fully to.He held up the photos and sketchbook and said" i found some old photos and my old sketchbook." the one of him in his fathers large boots and him covered in flour were next to the top with a couple pics of him and sisters playing when they were younger. the photos made him chuckle when he looked at them. some of them he barely remembered. others he couldn't remember at all since he was too young at the time of the photos.
He remembered that he was a tad bit of a trouble maker as a little kid but he also remembers meaning well. he was just a clumsy kid from what he remembered. " i found them in a drawer of my desk that i hadn't touched in a long time." he told her.

Fleur beamed as Louis kissed her on the cheek. She had witnessed many parents and children not show one another such affection and it disheartened her. Often the children were actually ashamed to kiss their parent or be kissed by their parent. But affection was strong in Fleur's family, and she was so happy that Louis was not like some of those children and teenagers. No matter what he did a kid, Fleur still loved him and in general had always thought him a good boy. "I am fine, enjoying a rare day off from work," she said with a chuckle. She was glad to hear Louis was doing well. She wondered if he was worried over the Ollivander disappearance as some youths said they were. She also wondered if he was nervous about the upcoming school year. "There has been so much going on in the department lately that it is nice to be away from it for a short while."She then looked over the photos and beamed at them. It was amazing how soon Louis and her two daughters grew. It seemed like only yesterday that these photos were taken with the old camera. It seemed like yesterday, Fleur was actually able to pick Louis up and carry him around when he was tired or had gotten hurt. She would sing to him in French and calm him down. "I was wondering what had become of these photos," said Fleur, her voice showing surprise that they were in the desk and not stored in a box somewhere with other things. "So many wonderful memories," she said. She then looked at a photo of Victoire and Dominique wearing some of Fleur's old dresses and laughs. "It doesn't seem like so long ago, does it?" She then smiled at Louis. "But how strong and handsome you have grown since then." LOUIS SIRIUS WEASLEY

Louis shrugged and said" i think i may have found them and started looking at them and accidentally never put them with the rest again from some reason, that i don't remember. i have no other idea why they would be in my desk." He was a bit forgetful at times like anyone could be.
He blushed slightly at his mother calling him handsome. He smiled as he said" no it doesn't seem like long ago at all." He chuckled as he saw a photo of his father and mother sitting on the porch smiling, but in front of them was himself being chased by his two sister, who were wet from having water dumped on them by surprise. He smirked and asked his mom" did i give my sisters a lot of trouble?" He did remember pranking them but they always got him back from what he remembered.
He glanced at his sketchbook and saw a sketch of the family. From what he saw, It was Christmas. Both of his sisters were at home. All of the family were checking out and playing with the gifts that they had gotten. Wrapping was still all over the ground. the fire was roaring in the fireplace and the tree was lit. He smiled at the picture and showed it to his mom. His family was often the subject of his sketching especially when he was just beginning and when he got more confident to try to put people in his sketches. He started with just the basic form of a person and as he got better, He added more detail to the people. He could notice this trend in his sketches as he looked from the oldest ones to the newest ones. He now loved to making the people in the sketches as life-like as possible. this sketch of the Christmas evening, the people had a lot of detail but weren't very life-like or exactly like the people they were in real life.

Fleur was hardly angry at her son for misplacing a few photos and hoped he didn't feel guilty because of it. In the Shell Cottage, all manner of things showed up out of nowhere some days. In fact, just recently she found a few things that belonged to that horrid goblin who was there when Harry, Hermione, and Ron stayed with them following the death of Harry's elf friend Dobby and during a time when Voldemort had corrupted the Ministry into hunting her three in-laws down. Given that the goblin had almost played a part in their demise at Gringott's, Fleur had no qualms in throwing away the possessions. The goblin didn't need them anymore anyway. "Well they're found now," she said. " We'll add them to the albums when we head back inside. It will be something nice to do together. I'm going to miss you terribly when you go back to Hogwarts." She kissed Louis on the forehead. "I always do."Fleur smiled when Louis spoke of how he probably annoyed his sisters when he was young. "On occasions, you tried to... what's that English expression that is so popular... take the mickey out of them, but that is expected of siblings, is it not?" she said. "I'm sure they have forgiven you for all those silly games by now."Fleur then looked at the sketches. She always thought her son was quite the talented artist. She knew how much he loved doing them, and if he ever wanted to pursue a career in art, she would support him completely. That was one of the beautiful things about many in the Weasley Family. They always supported each other in what each one did and what path each one wanted to take. "My talented artist," she said. "Your sketches always make this old French woman look beautiful." Words: 646 | "Hush now," came the casual tone and warm smile from the young man leaned against the frame of the top-half-opened Dutch door. "You're no more old than I am impulsive, Maman Fleur." It had taken him a while in his youth, but being that Teddy had never known his own mother - or so he could remember - Fleur was the closest he'd ever known to one. He loved her as he figured he would have his own mother and would hear no talk of her likening herself to an old woman. Old women were his Nanny Tonks' age. The end of summer was fast approaching and soon it would be time for Louis would be boarding the train to return to Hogwarts. Only this year he'd find a new familiar face there waiting for him both in his Transfiguration classroom and as Head-Pro-Tem of his House - that being Teddy himself. Being that she was also a member of the Order, Maman Fleur was one of few within the Aurors' office to know the precise reason Teddy has taken leave of his post to follow this new path. He was to be an extra set of keen eyes and an extra wand-at-the-ready to Zerod Grimp to ward the children, in response to the peculiar disappearance of Liam Ollivander. Little Louis, he could hardly call him that now that he stood several inches taller than Teddy's self. "As I remember, it took some convincing to get Vee not to jinx all of your pants three sizes too small after you outed the two of us to the family," Teddy remarked nostalgic, letting himself in past the lower-half of the door and stooping slightly kiss Maman on both cheeks. His Victoire was the portrait of light and airy except when she was upset, at which point... 'hell hath no fury and what-not..' It was a sentiment he'd been trying to avoid lately as she was none too pleased that he'd be leaving for Scotland, to stay until Christmas at that, and right soon at that. "I do recall a time after James managed to convince you that a handful of orange puking pastille halves were marzipan squares, when you filled the new boots I got for Boxing Day with throw-up. Maman, you were a godsend with that cleaning spell.""I just popped down to say my farewells" Well, that and because he couldn't sit around staring at the trunk he hadn't needed to pack since his own schooling without feeling more than a little guilty for leaving Victoire behind. As had been explained to him, he was needed - him specifically - because with so many other members of the Order, if they were to show up suddenly to assume a professorship, would look highly suspicious. His godfather had told him, in what felt like a forewarning as much as a complement, that he truly had inherited his father's sense of duty, if also his willingness to forego personal ties to satisfy it. "Well, goodbyes for most; 'see you soon' for a few others, " he said as he gave Louis a wink. "Evidently staff arrives a week in advance to turn the place out. Who would have thought?" Other matters as they were, it also took near to a week to brew a proper wolfsbane potion and Teddy needed to be certain that a proper supply was in stores, as the moon was set to be full in the third week of term. He was already wearing half his suit - the pants, shirt, and tie, albeit with the knot heavily loosened and the button of his collar unclasped. No one had told him what professors wore when apparating into Hogsmeade then making their way up the path to the castle but, as Teddy generally spurned wearing robes whenever possible, he was determined not be under-dressed. @fleur LOUIS SIRIUS WEASLEY |
