[attr="class","CVcontent3temp1"]Fenuku and Nanali Gahaji were werewolves (also a wizard and witch) who once lived in a dangerous Egyptian werewolf cult in a town near Cairo. The others in the cult were vicious and terrorized the streets and earned respect and spoils through fear. But the couple, who were married during their time in the cult, were not like this and soon fled, despite the warning that leaving the cult meant certain death. They ended up in a wizarding village in the English countryside, where Nanali gave birth to Xirena. When she was five, the cult found Fenuku and Nanali and murdered them. Xirena escaped, and was found almost freezing to death by Albert and Candace Eastbooth, two poor and noble-hearted purebloods. [break]
They were so kind that even after finding out Xirena was a werewolf like her parents, they were patient with her and showed her love. But as much as Xirena appreciated their love, she never forgot her parents and the monsters who killed them. She grew to be a strong girl in body and mind, preparing herself for what she believed would be a inevitable encounter with the cult. [break]
There was Hogwarts of course. Xirena had to be reminded she was a witch as well and had to have a witch's education. Her outstanding courage sorted her into Slytherin given her rugged attitude. While not snobbish or particularly cold, Xirena is something of a loner, and is of course MIA from her House's evening activities on the nights she turns. Xirena has also focused on using the fact that she is a werewolf to her advantage, particularly honing in on her advanced senses. [break]
As far as studying, Xirena has done well enough in her years at Hogwarts. She excels in DADA and Dueling, along with unarmed combat (which she does in her spare time). She sees graduation as a mere means to an end though. Some day she hopes to become an Auror... but first there is her parents' killers to deal with. [break]
