[attr="class","CVcontent3temp1"]Oh hello. I bet you're wondering why I'm hanging upside down from a bar. I like to look at the world upside down. It gives me a new perspective of things. You can learn a lot from the world by looking at it upside down. And through magical goggles too, but that's beside the point. Anyway, I guess you're here to learn about me so that you can approve this app. I guess beginning at the beginning is a bit cliche, but we'll go with it.[break]
I was born in a little countryside outside London. My parents were Merville and Lotus Moonberry. They're really nice, even though mum is a werewolf. She was a Muggle who got bitten by another werewolf when she was sixteen I think... maybe seventeen. She's not quite sure. We always keep her in a nice warm cage in the barn and feed her chicken and beef on the nights she turns. Other than that, she's a wonderful parent. So is dad. Dad is from a very old wizard family. People have always said that the Moonberrys are odd and eccentric, but I embrace that. I mean, most great minds are a bit unusual. I'm not saying I'm a great mind, but my dad is, and I'm pretty smart as well. I'm Half-Werewolf, but I can't turn myself. I do have an advanced sense of hearing and smell because of it, which I suppose is useful. I can hear the crickets better at night, which is nice. They play pretty music.[break]
So when I was eleven, I was accepted into Hogwarts. The sorting hat placed me in Ravenclaw. I guess because I'm quite smart. I do read a lot and have always been interested in learning new things in most any subject, so I guess that's why. But it's a nice House to be in. But I would have been happy in any of the other Houses. My favorite color is yellow, so I would have enjoyed wearing Hufflepuff robes. I consider myself brave because I climb the mountains by myself at home, so Gryffindor would have fit me too. I'm not sure if I'd fit in Slytherin, but I do like snakes... well the non-venomous ones anyway. I once kept a little garden snake for a few days, but then mum talked me into letting it go and bought me a rottweiler pup. His name's Buttercup. He's very lovely. Wouldn't hurt a fly.[break]
Oh yes, I was talking about school. Well I enjoy most of my subjects at school. I guess if I had to pick some favorites, it would be Herbology and Magical Creatures, mainly because the Moonberrys have always had a strong connection with nature. Some times I wish I was born a tree. I'm not sure why, but it just seems trees live a very long and noble life, and they do a lot of things for people. I wouldn't want to be cut down though.[break]
But since I'm not a tree, I try to think about what I'm going to be after I graduate. There's a lot of options out there. Most students plan to work in London, but I've never been a fan of the city. A lot of noise hurts my ears, and there's a lot of bad smells too. I might train something. I heard there's a lot of good work in training dragons, so I might do that. But I wouldn't want to keep one as a pet. Buttercup would probably get jealous.[break]
