Returning to her tower, Olivia pounded up the steps two at a time till she reached the top. Pulling out her wand as she came to the top, she slowed to single steps as she waved at the bottom of the ceiling and the rope ladder fell as it did at the beginning of classes, then changed at a wave of the wand into a circular stair. Mounting it rapidly as the magic didn't hold it's shape for very long, she stepped out at the top and used her wand to light a few lights around the corners to dispel the darkened corners as the sun shifted in the sky headed for the rim of the world. Another wave of her wand and those chairs near the window pulled back to the sides leaving a low round table and two chairs in the edge of the light.
Stepping up the stairs, Olivia retrieved a stack of papers to grade and returned back down, closing the gate to the upstairs seeming access. It was handy, to her mind, to keep people guessing what the real truth was and most had the impression from this rather simple and non-magical illusion that there was another floor above this for her. She enjoyed the trick and kept the gate closed to students on purpose for that very reason. Snagging a part of the table on her end she set the papers down in a stack face up and reached into her robe pocket to pull out a pair of rune-covered chopsticks and a small bowl. Setting her wand back in her pocket, she used the chopsticks to pull some tiny unseen thing from the bowl and suddenly she was placing a portable desk top in her lap!
Another gesture and a Turkish tea set appeared. She had after class hours time set aside for students to come for questions or help on Tuesdays, but nothing said she couldn't be comfortable while doing so! Putting the bowl and chopsticks away, she pulled a a tea canister off the tray and pulled out a tea bag smelling quite unusually like human cat nip and dropped it in the tea pot before rapping on the lid for i to fill. As it did so a rather delicious but unusual aroma began to fill the air slowly, steam slowly escaping from the spout. Picking up a paper, she turned it over, clipped it in place on the board, and began reading, the brilliant red of her dress putting a bold color in the corner.
She began working on grading papers while she waited to see if any wanted her particular help...
