Tea Time was very welcomed for Mera, especially after what her mind had been through as of late. Ever since the dark vision appeared in her mind, the Seer and the Ministry's Keeper of Prophecies had been on edge and hated to be alone... well almost alone. She always had her cat Medusa with her, but even the loyal feline's presence had brought her little comfort those days. Tea Time meant being around other people at the Ministry. It meant talking about this and that and getting her mind off the horrors she envisioned that day in her office. Around most others, she could be herself.
Mera walked into one of several Ministry lounges and made her way to the teapot which, through magic of course, always had fresh and piping hot tea. She poured herself a cup, added cream and sugar, and made her way over to sit down. Medusa was enjoying a nap in her office, but she was hardly alone in the lounge. One rarely found himself or herself alone in one of the Ministry lounges. Those who worked for the Ministry always came in and out from their shifts and various departments.
Mera spoke with Fleur Weasley for a bit, who happened to be in that part of a Ministry working on a specific case that required the skills of a seasoned Auror. Fleur could tell something was bothering Mera, and asked if she was alright. Mera told a lie and said she was just stressed with a few minor things as of late, though she wondered if she should have told Fleur the truth. Fleur had been in the Battle of Hogwarts and had taken on dark magic users then and since then. Mera knew Fleur would find out in time though.
Once Fleur had to leave, Mera sat and sipped her tea in thought.
