Swan Song | open

Sarah Finnigan had been working at the Leaky Cauldron for a few weeks now, and she loved her new job. It was the first real job that she ever had and she was quite happy with the way that it was working out. It had taken her a little while to adjust to the late shift. Her entire biological clock had to be reset. She had to learn how to get home at 4 am and sleep until noon, then force herself awake and go on her her daily life until around 9 pm when she would make her way back to the pub to start her next shift. She often wasn't tired when she got home from work, having gotten her second wind at around Midnight, but she had to force herself to sleep that way she could keep some sort of regularity.

Sarah hummed to herself as she wiped down the bar counter. It was the quiet time of night, just after 11 pm. The regular folk had all decided to turn in for the night and had left. The guests had all gone up to their rooms for the night and there was a small lag of time between their exit and the entrance of the next group. This was a 24 hour pub, though she had taken to cutting people off and refusing to serve when she knew that they had already had enough to drink. She didn't want any problems under her watch. It was sort of calm. And she could see the moon shining through the main windows near the entrance to muggle London. It was weird to think and a year ago right now, she would have most likely been laying in her bed in her 7th year girls dorm gossiping and giggling with Madison over absolutely whatever. Of course, they still did that now that they lived together, but they weren't students at school anymore. Now, they were adults. The had changed into Swans, their final transformation where they would remain for the rest of their lives. Intense.
