Trini wasn't a happy Hufflepuff today. She loved the outdoors, and every chance she got she was outside. However, today Hogwarts was experiencing one of its heavy autumn showers and all students were forbidden to go outside until it ended. This was going to drive Trini bonkers.
For now she sat and sighed as she looked at her cup of hot chocolate that wasn't so hot anymore. She sighed and placed the cup on the table, and began walking around. She saw some Puffs studying, but she had already done that. She always made sure she got studying and homework done before she went out. It was done, and now she wished she had just spent longer on it.
She then walked around to see if anyone was playing a game or something. If she couldn't go outside, watching people play games or show off their hobbies was an okay alternative. This didn't work either. Two people were playing Gobstones, but weren't very good at it. Trini wished she could help them out, but she wasn't really good at playing the game either. With a sigh, she decided that if she was going to find something fun to do, it was going to have to be somewhere else in the castle. Nobody said she couldn't go exploring around the castle itself after all, and there were a good few places allowed to the students that she hadn't seen yet in, especially given she would rather be outside when not in class, eating a meal, or doing schoolwork.
Trini had heard about the Mirror Passage on the Fourth Floor. She had heard all kinds of stories about it, and was admittedly curious as to where it led. She didn't think it led anywhere dangerous if other students had tried it and lived to tell the tale. So moving from the lower levels to the Fourth Floor, she decided to check it out.
