Breakfast was the most important meal of the day, or so they said. Most teenager’s skipped breakfast however Evelyn Nott would never skip breakfast, she couldn’t. She had a strict routine that required her to always eat a nutritious and healthy breakfast every single morning! She’d go out for an early morning run for approximately and hour followed by half an hour of body workouts. And then she’d have her breakfast followed by a relaxing massage by her masseuse Phillip, who was very good with his hands. Obviously he was a wizard, pureblood and slytherin alumni, she wouldn’t have a filthy mudblood or halfblood touching her. After finishing her morning jog Evie made her way into the Nott manor kitchen where she started to prepare her breakfast. Checking the time she started to brew the coffee for the rest of the family. It was currently 9.00am preciously so she knew the family would be up soon, maybe not Cole he’d sleep till noon, especially on a weekend. It felt so good to be home for the weekend, it was so much easier to have a normal morning routine at home than at Hogwarts, plus she couldn’t take Philip onto school grounds because of the rules they had to follow.
Evie began to brew the coffee so it was hot and fresh when her parents came down and then sat herself down at the little breakfast bar they had and began to eat her breakfast. Which was granola with strawberry yogurt, garnished with raspberries! It was divine and also happened to be her favourite breakfast choice, if she could have it every day she would but then she’d get bored of it. Checking the time once again it was 09.05am, which gave her 55 minutes before Philip arrived. She could easily shower and put on some clothes within that time frame. She’d probably just throw on a pair of trackies and a basic vest top, she’d only be taking it off later anyway to receive her massage.
The brunette sighed, a happy sigh before she carried on eating her breakfast and took a small sip of her ice cold water. @daphne

Daphne had went to bed with her husband Theodore the night before, but has awakened to see he was gone. No doubt he had gotten another owl saying he had to go away on another business trip, and therefore he had departed before dawn. As much as she hated not waking up next to him, Daphne could not blame her husband though. Both were success-driven and both buried themselves in their work. Daphne rose out of bed and looked in her daughter's room to no doubt see that she was out for her morning jog. Daphne did not know how her daughter could engage in such exercise so early, but she was glad Evelyn believed in being a fit witch. Daphne turned back and headed to the bathroom, where she showered and then prepped herself before getting dressed for work. She would enjoy breakfast with her daughter for as long as possible, then it was off to the Ministry. She had a great deal to do in preparation for her upcoming inspections of Hogwarts. Now dressed in a white business suit and heels, she stepped down to see her daughter leaving the kitchen with breakfast. She sighed a bit in frustration at this. "Evelyn, don't tell me you had to prepare your own breakfast?" she asked. "Where is Plucky? Where is that damn house elf?" The elf then appeared behind her. "Plucky's right here, Mistress," he said. Daphne let out a yelp of surprised, then turned and rolled her eyes. "I told you not to apparate so suddenly," she said. "Why didn't you prepare my daughter's breakfast this morning?""Plucky didn't know Mistress' daughter was awake so early," said the elf. "Plucky was cleaning Master's office as Master ordered Plucky to do so before Master left." "Ah," said Daphne. "Well you can prepare my breakfast then. Eggs the way I like them, toast, coffee, and orange juice. Well go on then." As the elf left, Daphne turned, walked over, and kissed Evelyn on the cheek, her mood doing a one eighty. "Good morning, sweetheart," she said as she seated herself. "I trust you have your day well planned already?"EVELYN OPHELIA NOTT

Evelyn sat quietly eating her breakfast and just thinking about what she should do after her massage. It would be nearly lunch by the time she’d had her massage so she’d probably get dressed again and then maybe concentrate on her charms essay before she went out to buy herself some bits and pieces. While she was deep in thought she jumped slightly when her mother appeared in the kitchen going on about the house elf. She just rolled her eyes and carried on eating her breakfast, she never did like the house elf making her food. It just made her cringe, his little house elf hands preparing her food. Shaking her head she watched her mother boss the house elf around as usual and carried on eating her breakfast. Honestly she didn’t mind doing things herself, else she was feeling really lazy then she’d ask Plucky to do it but it wasn’t all the time.
Finally when she stopped fussing she greeted her daughter with the usual kiss on the cheek followed by a good morning, which made it a usual morning. Nearly every morning she’d moan about the house elf and then say good morning, normally Evelyn and her mother were the first awake, which would be followed by her father before he left then eventually Cole would wake up, or not. It would depend what he was doing.
The brunette smiled, “Good morning mother,” out of both her parents she definitely preferred her mother, just because they spent so much time together but then again she was a daddy’s girl. Evelyn nodded, “Philip is coming around at about 10 for my massage and then I’ll finish off my charms essay and after that I’ll probably go into Digon Alley and get some bits.” Evelyn smiled before she looked over at her mother, “Have you made plans today mother?” @daphne

(Note: Tagging COLE THEODORE NOTT in case he wants to join in) Daphne was already growing impatient with Plucky, despite barely giving the elf enough time to go make the breakfast. A growling stomach did that to the woman, that and the fact that she believed in a combination of quickness and quality whenever one did a task. She ignored it for the time being though and smiled at Evelyn as she spoke of what she had planned for the day. She was glad her daughter had a good head on her shoulders, and was pleased that she concentrated on her studies despite being away from Hogwarts for the time being. "Sounds like you've planned ahead. Good girl," she said. "I almost wish I could stay and have Philip tend to me as well, but the Ministry calls. With the school inspections coming up, I have a mountain of paperwork and I have to make sure my department is in top form. One error and the entire first inspection will be for nothing. I still have nightmares about the last time that occurred." Daphne shuddered at that, though it was so long ago. She was merely an intern at that time, a far cry from her current position as Department Head. When Evelyn asked about plans, Daphne smiled again. "Well, there is work of course, but I may force myself to break pre-inspection protocol and get off a bit early today... to have dinner with my daughter at the Golden Veela," she said. The Golden Veela was a restaurant for the elite of the wizarding world, and Daphne loved going there and being among those she felt truly made the wizarding world what it was. That, and that had some fantastic seafood dishes. Plucky then arrived with the food and set it properly. "Thank you, Plucky," said Daphne with a voice that was far from genuine. "When you've finished your usual morning chores, I need you to pick up my new dress that has come in at Twilfitt and Tattings. No wrinkles like last time, understood?"The sad elf nodded and turned to walk away as Daphne turned back to her daughter. "How is school going?" she asked. " I trust you're making Slytherin House proud as always. I dread to think what might become the House after you graduate. Merlin forbid it falls to Gryffindor again."EVELYN OPHELIA NOTT

Evelyn had studying on her mind; she didn’t have a lot to do simply because she always kept up to date with her work. She hated it when her work was late or even on time, she liked it being early just so she didn’t have to worry about it or feel stressed out. Since she didn’t have a lot of friends she had plenty of time to concentrate on her studies and herself. A lot of people thought it was sad she had no friends but she quite liked it, all she needed was her family around her and that was it. After all she only ever trusted her family. It was easier being alone anyway, just so you didn’t get hurt.
The brunette nodded and listened to her mother talk about the Ministry, she knew her mother liked her work, most of the time. Although Evie had no idea what she wanted to do when she left. She knew she wanted to be in charge of something, maybe work in the Ministry like her mother but she wasn’t sure yet. She definitely wanted her own office though, that would be nice. Bossing people around and having your own office would always sound really good!
When her mother spoke about having dinner at The Golden Veela Evelyn smile, she loved that place the food was to die for. “Oh mother I’d love to go with you, it’s been such a long time since I’ve been in there!” It was a beautiful restaurant and you’d only find the most wealthiest witches and wizards in there. Thinking about it she could probably do a bit of shopping before meeting her mother for dinner. And then she started thinking about what she’d have to eat. Although the menu changed every so often which made it more interesting.
The topic turned to school which Evelyn wasn’t to keen on, “School is school, so far I have brilliant grades, one of the best in my class,” A bit more work and she could be the best! “I know, there are so many mudbloods in Slytherin now! It’s an outrage.” Evelyn rolled her eyes at the thought of muggle borns being sorted into Slytherin and it made her slightly sick. @daphne
