Tag: Open Word Count: 429 Outfit: AutumnSetting: Saturday Rose Garden Overcast Occasional wind Threat of rain Disgusting, disgusting people. Lunch had to be pushed back a little because some ridiculous first years thought a Slytherin vs Gryffindor food fight was in order. Idiots. Thankfully the place was cleaned up and Molly had managed to escape the second that first bowl of mashed potato and peas had taken to the air. Getting dirty thanks to some first years was not on her agenda. Ever. She'd had half a lunch and grabbed a couple of cupcakes on the way out, trying to protect her outfit and her hair. Thankfully having had some boisterous cousins, she'd learnt in her fourth year a spell to clean herself up but she hated having to use magic if she didn't have to. She was good because she had to be, she liked non-verbal magic and wanted to practice wandless magic but there was no way she could do that in school. She'd probably blow up a desk or a student. Plus with her temper she'd wave a hand and boom! Cover everything in fire.
Molly walked out of the large, double doors at the front of the castle. She walked down the steps as a cool breeze blew past. It was overcast and the threat of rain was unavoidable. Scotland in Autumn was never clear and never warm. It was surprising that more students did't suffer depression with that lack of sunshine this far north. It didn't bother Molly, she was a cheery sort of person naturally. Not the kind of cheery that people were drawn to but the kind of cheery that was more selfish, but she didn't like that label. She liked to think that she was self-motivated and not afraid to do the things she liked to do to keep herself happy. If more people took her attitude on life then she knew there'd be fewer doormats to walk over so she preferred being one in a million.
Molly made her way to the rose gardens. It was a good places to find couples that wanted to hide among the flowers. She'd found out about several secret relationships among the flowers and of course, they'd not stayed secret for long. Right now the place seemed empty, but couples were good at hiding. Especially if they didn't want to be found out but for now, Molly had cupcakes to devour, one she was willing to share with anyone that had some new gossip. Otherwise she was going to eat the both and then take a run down to the quidditch pitch to make up for all the extra calories.

Adelina was the queen of good etiquette. At meals, she practiced the height of good manners. Everything... EVERYTHING was done a certain way and in a certain order. This was because Adelina was the daughter of a Durmstrang Alumni Father and a Beauxbaton Alumni Mother, and she was encouraged to be proper at all times. The way Adelina dressed, spoke, and composed herself all reflected her level of etiquette... So what happened in the Great Hall offended her to no end. One moment she was sipping her tea and enjoying a chicken sandwich, the next almost an entire apple flew at her. She managed to escape in the nick of time, and with little damage to her highly cared for Gryffindor Robes. Fortunately, she also knew a cleaning spell, one of many advantages of her connection to the Weasley family. As she was dodging food and awaiting the right chance to make a run for it, she had seen Molly Weasley flee. Since the two shared an aunt, Fleur Weasley, Adelina had known Molly for quite some time and had a great deal of fondness for her. And the fact that the two were in the same House allowed her to see and interact with Molly a great deal. Along with being proper, Adelina was kind and considerate. When she saw Molly exit, she wasn't entirely sure if Molly had managed to grab any food to eat. Adelina had already eaten half a sandwich and felt she would do perfectly fine without the other half. Taking a napkin, she managed to wrap the sandwich well enough before she made her own escape. She was close enough to Molly to see her go into the rose gardens. She sped up her walk just a bit to catch up. When she reached Molly, she smiled. "Hello Molly," she said. "I saw you depart from that atrocity of bad manners in the Great Hall. I wasn't sure if you had managed to take something with you, so I brought you half of my sandwich." Adelina hadn't noticed the cupcakes yet. MOLLY EMARIE WEASLEY

Tag: @adelina & Open Word Count: 404 Outfit: AutumnSetting: Saturday Rose Garden Overcast Occasional wind Threat of rain Molly looked left to right, keeping an eye out for anyone making their ways to the garden to sneak a snogging session. It seemed that no one had decided to come out today. The bushes only rustled when the wind blew past which was becoming more and more frequent. Molly resigned herself to the fact that there was no juicy gossip to be had out in the rose gardens today. Still, not all was lost. She had cupcakes and she was outside. The wind that passed didn't bother her, she loved all sorts of weather and had been a rambunctious child. She'd sneak outside whenever she could and playing always kept her heart rate up. Jumping in muddy puddles was always her favourite but her mother wasn't so much of a fan. Luckily it didn't seem to bother grandma Weasley as much, just so long as she didn't jump in the chicken poop.
Barely any time had passes when Molly heard a voice. She looked up to see miss Prim and Proper. She offered a smile, wondering how long she'd be stuck with her cousins' cousin. She could always walk off but really, Adelina wasn't that bad. She was better than nothing and perhaps she had some juicy gossip. Perhaps some guy couldn't help but flirt with that 1/8th veela gene she carried and promised something utterly ridiculous or did something absurd. "Absolutely, such a dismal display." She said. It wasn't the way she usually talked but it was her own secret way of mocking the blonde. She didn't use an off tone or seem rude in the slightest. Molly had nothing against Adelina it was just fun to mock people without them knowing and Molly loved making herself happy. "But at least I'm out of there." Molly picked up a cupcake for Adelina. "Trade ya." She offered the red iced cupcake with gold star sprinkles. She quite fancied that half sandwich and a cupcake made a fair trade, Molly thought, plus while they were hanging together they could gossip away. Molly had some interesting information on Rolanda Sparks but she wasn't willing to part with it for nothing. Ah heck, who was she trying to kid? Of course she'd tell, she loved telling. She loved being the centre of attention and she loved knowing and sharing everybody's business. It was of course a flaw of Molly's, but she didn't give a frack.

Adelina was as kind as could be, and highly sociable. She knew how to act at those big fancy parties that a lot of people showed up at and was highly respected among the elite her parents knew. However, despite all that, she had a difficult time picking up on humor. She had no clue that Molly was somewhat mocking her and how proper she was in her speech. There were several who did that to Adelina, and some were among the Weasleys and Potters (well... Albus anyway). Perhaps it was good that she was oblivious because if she knew people she considered friends did mock her personality, it could hurt her a bit. Adelina sort of came off as snobbish at times, but never intended to be so. "I hope you weren't hurt in the scuffle," she said sincerely, proving her intentions were often noble. "I've always found you and your sister Lucy to have the loveliest hair and it would be a shame if it were tampered with by flying cuisine." She chuckled a bit at that. She then smiled when Molly offered the cupcake as a trade. "Sure, a cupcake would be lovely right now," she said. She then seated herself on a garden bench and looked over the cupcake before turning to Molly. "So, your Seventh Year? You must be quite excited. How was your summer? I didn't have a chance to see many of your family during my time abroad with mother and father. Well, aside from Aunt Fleur and Louis... oh and Albus. But that was mostly because he likes to visit with Alietta." Adelina really didn't enjoy being around Albus Potter all that much, but her older sister, Ali, did. Then again, there was a lot she and her sister did not have in common. MOLLY EMARIE WEASLEY

Tag: @adelina & Open Word Count: 423 Outfit: AutumnSetting: Saturday Rose Garden Overcast Occasional wind Threat of rain Well yeah, she did have rather lovely hair. Lucy's was okay she supposed, a little flat and a boring colour but the quality was nice, she could do all sorts of styles with it if she'd even bother. "No harm done, I managed to escape unscathed." Molly was not a fan of food fights. Sometimes you could sense these things were coming but today it just seemed to have come out of the blue. Molly didn't fancy heading back inside yet but she wasn't properly dressed if it were to start raining so she was just going to wait out as much as she could before heading inside, probably with Adelina.
They traded the cupcake for half a sandwich and Molly took a bite. It wasn't the greatest sandwich in the world but it was good enough for now. Perhaps while she was chewing she could think of conversation with Adelina. Molly wasn't great at being subtle so chances were she was just going to blurt out something, asking Adelina about other people, but Molly wasn't sure how Adelina was with gossiping and talking about other people while they weren't around. Some people saw it as rude, Molly thought of it as interesting and another way of getting to know your peers.
"It's pretty good. Lessons are hard all ready but I think I'll manage. More free periods but they're going to be spent studying like hell." It was tough in a way but Molly would find herself a good routine. It was going to be a stressful year keeping up with her grades and her quidditch as well as all the gossip but she'd find a way. She just had to decide what she was going to do next year. She'd always had her heart set on professional quidditch player, like her aunt Ginny had been, but she wasn't sure if she could compete on that sort of level. Hogwarts was a breeze in comparison but she could work her way up, start of as a sub and make her name known. Well it was already a famous name in the wizarding world but she could make her own name it's own kind of famous. "So where did you travel? Anywhere nice? Meet any cute guys?" Molly was not subtle but she wanted to know absolutely everything about what Adelina had been up to during her summer. Molly had just spent hers around London with a trip to Spain with a couple of friends for a long weekend, nothing overly exciting really.

Adelina smiled when Molly said she had escaped unscathed. Adelina supposed there could be far worse things to happen at Hogwarts than being dirtied by a food fight, even in peace time. Still, it was nice to know Molly was okay. Adelina's smile dropped just a bit when she saw the overcast overhead. Having taken good care of her school robes, she certainly did not want them ruined. However, this was a chance to converse with Molly, and she really did not want to pass that up. Once they were back inside the castle, who knew where the two would be going. Adelina was well aware of the awkward silence as Molly ate some of the sandwich and carefully ate her cupcake to avoid getting icing on her mouth and nose. She wasn't sure if Molly was hungry and wanted to finish the sandwich before talking or Molly had run out of things to talk about. Adelina then of course decided to bring up the fact that Molly was a Seventh Year, which got a response from her cousin's cousin. "I know I'm a Sixth Year, but if you need any happy with research in the library, I've become quite familiar with many of the book sections by now. Perhaps I can help with your other homework as well. I've been doing quite well in Alchemy so far, and have always excelled in Charms and Potions." Adelina then blushed a tad as she found herself boasting. "Anyway, I'd be more than happy to help in any way I can."
Adelina blushed again when Molly asked her where she traveled and if she had met any cute guys on her trip. "I spent a week in France with mother's side of the family," she said. "You should see the French countryside, Molly. It's simply magnificent. As for boys, well... there was a farm boy, Jacques....." Adelina then blushed even harder. MOLLY EMARIE WEASLEY
