HISTORY

Molly Weasley was the first born child to Percy and Audrey Weasley. She was shortly followed by her twin sister, Lucy, and the two were complete opposites. While Lucy was the mellow, watch from a distance, perfect child, Molly was into absolutely everything. She skipped crawling and rolling and was walking at 6 months, holding onto the furniture and at 9 months she was walking solo. That was the start of Audrey's problems with Molly.
With twins to look after and Percy constantly working, Molly slipped through the cracks a little. She started performing magic at three, just accidentally but it was there, sometimes in horrifying bursts when Molly accomplished something that made her cheer and scream. It was fair to say Molly was more than Audrey could handle so she spent a lot of time at her Grandma Weasley's, her name sake.
Molly tinkered with muggle objects with her Grampy Weasley and baked with her Grandma Weasley. These things kept her mind busy and more importantly, her fingers. True there were mishaps when Grandma Molly accidentally turned her back on Molly for two seconds and she was covered in flour. Grandpa Weasley bent over to pick up a bolt Molly had dropped and the sparks went flying. Literally. She crossed two live wires and sparks flew and fire followed.
Molly has always been a free spirit. She found love in quidditch when she was three, stealing Teddy's broom one christmas and flying about the burrow, her mother panicking and her father screaming for her to stop at once. She was caught eventually but it started her love for quidditch.
Lucy eventually showed signs of magic but Molly never really noticed. She grew to love her sister when she eventually realised she was there. Molly was so full on she'd barely noticed she wasn't an only child.
The twins got their Hogwarts letters and Lucy was sorted first. The sorting hat placed her in Slytherin and Molly was honestly surprised, she thought her sister was going to be a Ravenclaw but Slytherin was her second guess. Molly herself was placed almost immediately into Gryffindor.
Year after year Molly tried out for the Quidditch team, failing until her fourth year but there was only one position available and that was beater. She took it and the captain of the time was happy to have her as their first choice was beater one and their second choice took a serious bludger to the head. Sadly there was one person that did not want Molly on the team and that was her father. They struck a deal and in exchange for her being allowed on the team without her parents nagging, she promised to get good grades.
When she applied herself it turned out the Molly could actually get good grades and so she started learning non-verbal spells. She was always just kind of average but she'd never really tried until she had a reason to.
Now Molly's in her last year. She's keeping up with her school work and her quidditch. She has a couple of close friends, she flirts a bit but at the same time her attitude rubs some people the wrong way. She's stolen a boyfriend or girlfriend or two but she's never wanted to settle down and she know's she's not going to find the love of her life at Hogwart's. She's had a few boyfriends and girlfriends but decided that's not for her, she prefers her life as a free spirit.
She likes being outside, practicing magic, writing, swimming and of course, Quidditch. She hates libraries, enclosed spaces (to the point the she is claustrophobic), reading, other loud people and people that want to start fights with her. Molly's no way near perfect she knows that but would never admit it and would just hate for someone else to point it out. She's terrible at keeping secrets, loves to gossip and, sadly, is a total klutz. Over the course of her life she's had several broken bones. Her over zealous, explorative nature and being clumsy do not mix well, but when she's on a broom, she doesn't have to worry about a thing.
