Tripp is but isn't your typical gryffindor. He has the typical gryffindor characteristics of being courageous, daring, and recklessly brave. But, he has shown to be over-competitive, ambitious, and unintentionally rude to some of his fellow peers. His brother (who is much like him) has shown Tripp that being competitive makes him a "better player". After all, one of Tripp's main goals is to surpass his brother, and by being competitive, it drives him forward to accomplishment. If he can't succeed, "go big or go home." One of the main motto Tripp holds close to his heart and uses on a daily basis. After being bumped up from reserve, he is always willing to put on a show for folks at the quidditch pitch. Tripp had made his debut by scoring the winning goal in the semi-finals of the Hogwarts Quidditch Cup. Though, people kept comparing Tripp to his brother who had succeed in catching the snitch during one of the matches. Tripp is constantly being compared to his brother which motivates him to do better, and therefore become a better player.

Being born as the poster boy of prefection, Terry is the favorite in the family. He has been, and will probably be favored by his parents until death. Though, he doesn't seem very keen on the attention. Like many of the slytherins who adore attention, Terry was one avoided being at the center. It hasn't work out since he was a star quidditch player, and was working as a coach for the Puddlemore United until the frantic broom heist after one of the matches. As of now, he works in the Department of Magical Games and Sports under the British and Irish quidditch league.
