[attr="class","CVcontent3temp1"]Heather Song Whitby was born the sole child of Hufflepuff Alumni Kevin Whitby and Muggle Su Li Whitby. Her father was a significant figure in the Floo Network Authority Section of the The Ministry's Department of Magical Transportation, and her mother owned a well respected martial arts studio in Muggle London, which drew students from all over Europe who paid generously to learn from the acclaimed female black belt Su Li. So the family was well to do to say the least. However, Kevin was actually still quite shy from his Hufflepuff days, so the family didn't like to do a lot socially. That was fine with Heather, as she preferred to spend her time in her mother's studio, learning martial arts herself. She began at age four, and by the time she was eleven and about to attend Hogwarts, she was already a black belt herself due to her dedication and discipline to what her mother taught her and the other students.[break]
Heather had a courageous edge because of her discipline and quiet nature due to her lack of social skills, and that caused her to be sorted into Gryffindor her first year. While she wasn't hateful toward anyone, she avoided parties and other events, and was and still is a girl of few words. She has few mates, but any who have earned her friendship have earned a true friend.[break]
Over the past few years, Heather has done well in her studies, maintaining the discipline taught to her by her mother. She has also worked hard in the area of magical defense, becoming more and more skilled with her wand. Those like Zerod Grimp believe she could go on to be a fantastic Auror, perhaps even a Hit-Witch. However, Heather plans to follow in her mother's footsteps and some day open a martial arts studio of her own.
