Silvia had enjoyed her first four years at Hogwarts. In the beginning a lot of people found her incredibly odd and avoided her a bit, but it didn't really bother her. She had all the places to explore and various creatures to visit thanks to Hagrid, who she befriended right away. Over time, she made some good mates in her House and other Houses. Once people saw how genuinely kind and interesting Silvia was, they became a bit more attached to her. Silvia of course enjoyed their company as well. She loved getting know all about others, or as much as the person cared to reveal. Silvia rarely ever pried.
Silvia had a lot to look forward to her Fifth Year. She heard that Professor Grimp was going to show people how to do the Patronus Charm. She had wondered for many years what her Patronus Charm would be. She suspected a wolf because of what her mother was and what she was half of. Perhaps a fox or another kind of canine. Whatever it was, she couldn't wait to learn about the Charm.
For now, Silvia had finished her unpacking and was re-exploring Ravenclaw Tower. She "re-explored" because she always found something new and interesting there, especially with the large pair of magically magnifying goggles her father had invented and gave her as a gift on her last birthday. As she looked about walls and tables, a First Year approached her.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Hello there," smiled Silvia. "I'm looking for Lacewing Flies."
"Lacewing Flies?" asked the boy curiously.
"Yes. People like to stew them and use them in Polyjuice Potion, but I just like to look at them. They have a lovely green color and interesting flight pattern. They can be seen with the naked eye of course, but I enjoy watching them up close."
