long story short, here goes: kat is a one hundred and twenty-nine year old vampire hailing from spain. she grew up there is a different time, and behaves in such a manner. however, after truly awful circumstances leading up to her death, she fled the country where her horrid parents lived in search of something new. after some time in europe, she boarded the ship, titanic, and made her way stateside. for two decades she lived and learned under the care of muggle gangsters and became quite the criminal herself; killing when she needed, blackmailing, extorting, theivery. another two decades were spent on the run from the american ministry looking for the most dangerous vampire in new england. then she found woodstock and eighties rock n' roll. needless to say, this vampire is a wild child, not easily controlled, hates authority, and mlives by her own rules. what fun.

being a social butterfly that she is, kat generally gathers people in flocks. maybe it's her charm, maybe it is because of what she could do for others, but there are a lot of reasons why people want to be close to her. the blond knows how to have fun, and can drink nearly anyone under the table. she likes having many friends, and they like her too.

however, with such an outgoing personality and natural leadership, she does tend to step on a few toes along the way. every queen has enemies, every mafia godfather has rivals, and she is no exception. kat has a temper and a bit of a short fuse. she doesn't like it when people order her around. any excuse to pick a fight, she would gladly welcome.

@xirena - "frenemies"? here until they learn to play nice

relationships are a tricky for kat. her last serious relationship was her fiancee, and she killed him. of course, she's got all that hot latin blood in her, so she flirts relentlessly, and doesn't mind a one night stand. serious relationships would be a whole different story, though. she figures it just depends on the guy.

@albus - possible interest? hmm. how interesting

Okay, here's some peeps for Kat:

Katrina- I liked their dynamic before. I think they could be good buddies again.

Felicia- We know the plan here. They'll be the Batman and Robin of Slytherin Vampires!

Albus- Interested to see what could come out of this. I think Kat would compliment Albus'
somewhat rebellious side.

I also think she and Xirena might have an interesting dynamic too, one being a vampire and the other a werewolf. Maybe something that starts off rocky due to the assumptions they have about each other, but builds to a potential friendship over time.
