You Thought By Now You'd Have Me Figured Out.
Luke's first day shopping this year, but everything he already had. He just needed his text books, and he knew he couldn't start this year without them. Definitely not. He had made plants to meet Ally, grab some lunch, and get their books together. They basically have the same year load and he was super excited to be in so many classes with his sister. Though, there was something new he did at a party last night that would be shocking Ally today. He got his nose pierced.
He knew she wouldn't be angry at him, at least for having it. Getting it without her she might get slightly upset, though he would handle it well. They were the rock for one another towards anything really, especially their parents' anger, there was no way she could stay mad at him for this. She needed him for the trip home and the explanation/punishment session.
He giggled to himself slightly, and found a place to stand outside of one of the food vendors in Diagon Alley. There was no need to be in a hurry, but some punctuation on Ally's part would be splendid. He pondered the events of the summer while he waited, looking for ways to pass the time by thinking about some things that happened between their fourth and fifth years. He fiddled with the scope on his camera as he thought about the beach trip they all took as a family. The only time he isn't stuck to Ally's side is when Unlce Luch is around. He is really his only guidance in the whole being gay thing, that it is only natural for him to want to be around Uncle Luch. Though, the beach trip was really nice. Uncle Luch has... great taste in guys when it comes to being shirtless. He laughed again as he thought about this. Even though the man was 28-ish.
Luke didn't have time to think about a boyfriend though, unless it was summer. School is starting soon, he knew, and that meant that most of his attention would be school related. He'd much rather not get bad grades and another talking to. But, it wasn't like it was boys that did that to him last year, it was his camera. That thing was always in his way, but he loves it. Speaking of which, he did get a lot of really good pictures this summer. He clicked the display button.
He began advancing through the images in the memory of his camera. Some made him smile, laugh, or even frown. The frowns came from the trip they took and missing the place or hating that it was over. He knew there would be more adventures like that in store for him, but he really enjoyed the times and places this summer. He came to a picture of him and Ally that seemed to be perfectly flawless. She was laughing, not paying attention to the camera, and he was making a goofy face at her with his arm raised taking the picture. He knew he just needed to get the printed and framed, there wasn't anything less he would do with that.
He turned the display off. After all, he is a photographer-he will have his entire life to relive memories through that lens. He was content with his life currently, and knew it could only get better.
He set his camera back down at his chest with the strap ALWAYS around his neck, and leaned against the wall, just waiting for Ally.
