[attr="class","CVcontent3temp1"] Albus Severus Potter was born the second son of Harry and Ginny Potter. He was named after two great Hogwarts Headmasters, Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. He was a quiet boy and very close to his father. However, he didn't get along very well with his older brother, James. The two were like apples and oranges in a lot of ways, which helped in prompting a but of a sibling rivalry. Also from an early age, Albus became interested in his father's fame and what Harry had done in the legendary Battle of Hogwarts. On one hand, he was proud to have such a father. On the other, he felt as if he was in danger of living in his father's shadow, sparking a strong ambition to be his own man someday despite his love and pride for his father.[break]
When Albus was to leave for his first year at Hogwarts, he was nervous about being sorted into Slytherin. His father assured him that regardless of whatever house he ended up in, he would turn out to be a great wizard, also reminind him of what a great man Slytherin Alumnus Severus Snape was . As Albus dreaded, he was sorted into Slytherin due to his strong ambitious personality.[break]
While he was uncomfortable in the House at first, over time he began to embrace being Slytherin. For one, it separated him from his brother, who of course ended up in his father's House, Gryffindor. And two, it allowed him to stand out and potentially pave his own path and some day be his own man with his own legacy. Slytherin would allow him to be more than "Harry Potter's son".[break]
Though many in Slytherin House were... well what many Slytherins turned out to be, Albus still had a great nobility about him. He wanted to fight for the right cause and do his part to aid his fellow students against the Dark Arts, helping to train some of them on occasion. Now in his Seventh Year, Albus has become a favorite of DADA Professor and Order Of The Phoenix member, Zerod Grimp, for his skill and ambition. And while he wishes to be his own man, he has certainly done his family proud.
