[attr="class","CVcontent3temp1"] Hugo wasn't one to be very attentive to a lot growing up. The majority of his childhood consisted of bugging his sister and "Ooo shiny!" so, there wasn't a lot of room for him to learn. His attention issues are still something he struggles with. Though, he loves how he grew up and wouldn't change a thing about it--except maybe the broken leg he had when he was nine and his slight stutter that comes out some time. [break][break] Once his letter came, he slowly became the most excited child on the planet, followed by the words, "Mum, will you yell at me when supper is ready?" Of course, Hermione would. It doesn't take a lot to avert his attention, nor to lose it, so sometimes talking to him can be a lost cause. Going into first year, however, he did spend a lot of time staring at the ceiling while walking into the great hall for the very first time. It was more like " Wh-ohhh..... Shiiiiiiinyyyyyy..." [break][break] His grades lack what his sisters have, which is the good. His grades are okay, but even if he tries as hard as he can, he can never keep attention in class. Nothing can hold his attention, maybe a boy, but nothing really. He found that if he closes his eyes and just listens to the professor, it was easier to learn, however, he would only be accused of sleeping in class. His knack, however, lies in his ability of casting magic and solving puzzles. For whatever reason, it could take it half the time of most of his peers to put a puzzle together without magic. Problem solving and muggle mathematics takes no time at all for him. Some say that he is just a very situational thinker and can predict most outcomes. [break][break] He also has a strong connection with his sister now that he has grown up a bit and learned that he can't always just be playing pranks on her. Oddly enough, some would say their best friends. The two know better than that though, they are perfectly awesome siblings. They should hang out more though, that is for sure. [break][break] The next couple years his grades gradually got better, but his attention didn't. He was doing all he could, including spending after class time with professors in order to understand things that he had missed in class. His social life still remained horrible. He could never keep a good conversation going for that long, and coming out that he was gay would definitely have to wait. Rose would be the first to know, he knew it in his heart. [break][break] Hugo, today, really enjoys large count puzzles, wizard's chess, and charms. If he could have it his way, there would be a class based around magical fighting strategies, but he will just have to deal with DADA for that. Hopefully there will be some incorporation of what he finds interesting. Oh yeah, and he is also single boys. He has an awkward attentive eye toward Louis, one of his cousins. He's quite defined in the muscle region and Hugo is almost positive he's gay, but doesn't to be awkward about it. They're cousins, it could get weird. Hugo just keeps it to himself.[break][break] Just a little more... Hugo may have this awkward, stuttering, attention compulsive, and sporadic personality, but he has a slight ego. Like... He thinks so highly of himself because he's always been taught to self-believe and self-motivate. Truly, it's gotta be because he doesn't want to leave any room for anyone to doubt him. He is quite popular amongst other students, so.. it's working.
